Following a mid life crisis Darrel left his other brothers Darrel and
Larry and set out to live his own dream. He designed and built his
own home in the woods by a lake and close to the ocean. His diet
changed from road kill to seafood where everything started to get
fishy. For many years he got involved in the construction business in
an exceptional area of Nova Scotia where the lakes were plentiful but
within reasonable distance of civilization. This lead to involvement
in the purchasing of woodland, selling of timber and lumber, a rock
quarry, along with the development of more lakefront for recreational
and retirement properties. One day he realized that 25 years of
neglect had taken it's toll upon his own property so he now works on
a limited number of projects but more directly upon his own home. A
man's hobby should be his home!
